This is the birthday card I made for my sweet SIL. It almost made itself thanks to the gorgeous patterned papers.
I fussy cut the two large butterflies from paper that was identical to the base layer, and cut a label and the smaller butterfly from coordinating papers. These pieces were misted liberally with both gold and sparkle Shimmer Spritz. The large butterflies were attache by adhering the bodies directly to the layer and popping up the wings with dimensionals. The label is popped up on clear dimensional tape from Kool Tack.
I cut one tag from coordinating paper and added a scroll border sticker from the paper pack. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment on vellum and cut the second tag. I used a vintage button for the tag reinforcement and threaded the legs of a small decorative brad through the button holes. The tag is also attached with Kool Tack tape. I finished by adding a small butterfly to the vellum tag and placed a small dot of adhesive behind his head to attach the vellum tag to the paper tag beneath.
As always, thanks for looking!
