I made a card featuring the art of Ikebana (Japanese flower arranging). The square corner dies remind me of a Japanese screen, so I used two to create a backdrop for the floral arrangement. The vase is an ornament punch that has both the top and bottom cut off ... a thin strip of pink metal was added for decoration.
Accessories: pink metal sheet (add a little dazzle), ornament punch (SU!), grove branch die (memory box), hydrangea punch (martha stewart), square corner die (cuttlebug

OMG Loll...this is easily the most beautiful Ikebana arrangement I have seen using paper art. I LOVE how you used your ornament and flower punches with the shiny metal sheets and die cut screen. Beautiful touches. Even your sentiment has an Asian font. All perfect my friend. TFS and getting me inspired...Again :-)

When I see a card this beautiful, it goes right into favorites before even commenting! The design is so striking, Loll! You have captured Ikebana in the most fabulous way. I LOVE the metal and the clever way you used an ornament die! Your workmanship on this is exceptional!

Did you hear me squeal with delight when I "opened" this card up in the gallery? Sooooooooooooo cool! It would be amazing on its own, but is even more so when you read the description and realize the innovation/creativity that went into creating it. WONDERFUL!
