Dina is hosting the MIX84: Left is Right! (or for you lefties "Right is Left!") challenge! Doodle on your project with your non-dominate hand.
I used a PITT artist black pen and doodled a heart on the coffee mug and a whimsy border. I was so scared I was going to ruin it, but surprised at how well I did. I just had to say "Hey it's only paper, right?" And maybe I practiced on the mug with a pencil first. You might be able to see it up close. I always draw a pencil line when I doodle for a border, so I did that this time as well. I DID practice the design on another paper before committing to the border. It's only paper, but it was a pretty monoprint one-of-a-kind pattern paper I was about to commence doodling.
I also used the Viva La Verve sketch + color challenge this week. Since I created my paper I used the fun named paints called Margarita (green), Dragon Fruit (pink) and Khaki Tan (tan) on my Creative Palette for the color part of the challenge and the sketch was a fun one to pull together.
Paper: Kraft and Cream cardstock (Wausau), pink (Royal Fiber), monoprint paper
Paper Size: A2 - 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento, Tsukineko), PITT Artist Pen Black (Faber-Castell)
Accessories: Coffee Word, Cuppa Joe and Flag It Dies (A Cut Above, Verve), Pink/Cream Polka Dot Ribbon (Pastel Polka Ribbon Collection, Verve), acrylic paint (Mararita, Dragon Fruit, Khaki Tan (DecoArt), 3D Foam Square Adhesives, Creative Palette (Stampendous)
In my faves it goes!!! AMAZING work with your non dominant hand! Yes, it might only be paper but when we spend a good deal of time in the creation we sure don't want to mess it up in the end! Your pencil drawing and practicing first is a terrific idea! This is gorgeous and the print bg is beautiful!

Congratulations! In the General Stamping forum, you're in the FAVORITES for the week ending September 7, 2014. See post #1.
Pretty impressive doodling!
And as DH is tsruggling to get out of the house for a day volunteering at motorcycle road races, I'm thinking he needs a stamp like this for men ;-).
