I liked the negative leftover from the leaf die cut, so I trimmed it into a square frame and made a 2nd card with it. I returned the leaf to its position after coloring with distress inks and scrunching it up a bit for authenticity. I like how it doesn't sit flat in the frame, but looks ready to pop out and float off.

I love doing that with leaf dies in particular. I'm afraid I'm always so frugal with my card that I cut dies as close to the edge as possible and never end up with a usable frame unless I've planned it at the start. This is a real CAS beauty. Thank you for making such beautiful Autumn colour even when you're moving into Spring.
