I embossed the flowers first and then dabbed distress inks on my craft mat and then spritzed with water, then laid my wc cs stock in it I actually did this step twice to get more variation in color. Then I spritzed with my favorite shimmer spritz which makes it sparkle! Mounted on gold shimmery cs, and then popped this up on the card front. Sentiment is gold embossed and then trimmed and adhered. Love how this turned out although I was aiming for more blue in my background. It's always a surprise what your colors end up looking like!

I love this Maura! Thanks for explaining how you did it, too! I've been dabbling with watercolors myself this weekend. Great take on the inspiration. I love the rich , vibrant colors and the white embossing.
