I was beginning to panic! I saw this picture early this morning & when I looked again tonight it seemed there was a LOT more inspiration & I had a hard time finding the one I chose! I had to look through all twice to find it again. Anyway...
Thanks Audrie for sharing your wonderful inspiration Pinterest page. It is packed with so many beautiful pieces.
For my Beach Birds, I brayered the blues then flipped it around & brayered the sandy grass. I add a sponged Ballet Blue horizon line. For the white in the sky I diluted white paint & dipped a kleenex to pick up color & swiped it across the blues. I then sponged on a little more NON across the top. Then I sponged on some CCurry & MMustard in the 'grass'. Stamped the birds & it was ready to mount onto the base.
I was away most of the afternoon so a late upload.
Thanks for stopping by.

Karen...this is stunning!!! I can't believe how easy you make it sound! Would've taken me all day and THEN some and it STILL wouldn't be this gorgeous!!! I love it!

This just jumped out at me in the gallery saying OPEN ME and get a closer look! Love the effects you got with your brayering and sponging and the thing you did with the white paint... I enjoyed reading your details...You ROCKED the challenge with this case of your inspiration piece!

Wow Karen, I didn't know you had such awesome brayering skills - that tool scares me because each time I try it the results are awful! Love your card - so peaceful and that stamp set is so great! I had to laugh because the same thing happened to me - I made my card and then went back to load it and the pictures had all moved around! Found another inspiration picture too and ended up making another card. Fun! Love your card. Hugz!
