For today's WTUI Challenge we were to go 'Old School' & use some type of chalkboard technique. Mine in 'chalk dust' which is actually baby powder brushed onto the black banner. You can't really see it in the photo, but it is there!
I was also inspired by Sue's (bensarmom) card today using the Bokeh technique. Sue's card. Here is the link to the technique: Bokeh.
First I made my own circle stencil. Then I did the color wash using a blue, turquoise, yellow & gold w/c paint & a wide brush. After that was totally dry, I sponged on Whisper White moving & using different sized circles. I punched some balloons & tied some floss string. I like doing this technique & will try it again, perhaps using some different shapes.
