I couldn't decide what type of card this should be - thank you, birthday, thanksgiving... So I left that for another day and put the candy dots where I would normally stamp a sentiment. I have numerous male relatives/friends with autumn birthdays so this is likely to become a birthday card.
I sponged the card and all panels with old olive, including the blue panel behind the burlap. It seemed very bright compared to the earth tones of the rest of the card. Although the old olive just reads as "dark" and not green, that did the trick. It toned down the blue.
