I have kept some older calendars because I just love the artwork of Susan Winget. This page had the right colors so I cut into it for my bg piece behind the quatrefoil die.

Oh, I love Susan Winget, too, and sometimes use her free wallpaper for the computer. This card is just gorgeous....love birds.

Oh, Becky, this card is so beautiful! I love the idea of the calendar page in the background, love the embossed layer, and the beautiful coloring on your pretty bird! So sweet!

What a great idea to use a pretty calendar for a background behind the die cut frame! Must remember this tip. Terrific card on many counts...love all the layering, and the bird in front.

Another beauty, Becky! I have tons of saved calendar pics...I really need to use them more. I know just what you mean about there being beautiful artwork on them. Great recycle!
