This is a birthday card for our 17-year-old grandson. I used the anchor from Anchor the Soul, colored it and added the sentiment from All Occasion Sentiments. I used ODBD's Christian Faith Collection paper pad, sponged and pierced (how can I resist - hehe!), and added the Pennant Swag die with sponging and brads and finally added some burlap and pearl cotton. I can hardly believe he's going to start driving soon! Be careful anyone who lives in NJ - ha! Praying he will be careful and safe! Thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you like it!

Cheryl, I love your beautiful creation for your grandson! Blue is always a favorite and this one is just amazing from the papers to the cotton pearl and then you fabulous coloring on the image. A real beauty which he will treasure.

Cheryl, your cards are always amazing works of art. This is such a great card that I gather from the first posting is for your grandson...what a perfect masculine card. Your coloring is gorgeous and the dp in the background is really lovely. Your image is beautifully framed and the burlap, twine and pennant banners make this card a home run for sure. Faved and pinned....

Those blues are GORGEOUS. And the image - I think that's one to add to my wishlist now that I see it doesn't just have an anchor and the sea but a bird too . I love the overall rich look of this, especially the burlap and twine and little banner.
