Becky gave us the following lovely colors for today's challenge:
Old Olive
Calypso Coral
Lost Lagoon
Dessert: Use something recycled. I skipped dessert.
I stamped the line image of this Rubbernecker stamp set with Old Olive and clear embossed it...knowing it would run with watercolors. I disregarded the other stamps of this set and free handed the colors on the petals and buds with reinkers and an aqua brush.
I really like this stamp since it shows the "back side" of a group of poppies...no deep black centers here....giving another perspective of them.

No one does these poppy images like you do! I love the washes you use in the background. Since watercolor is so difficult for me, seeing your incredible talent with them is such a treat! This is gorgeous again, Sallie! You get that beautiful shading with them, a skill I have yet to learn. Just fabulous!

What an interesting stamp - showing the backside of the poppies. I like it not having the black centre. You've coloured them perfectly and they look great against that lovely blue-green wash background.

Beautiful! I always like the unexpected view. :-) This reminds me of when I was younger (much!) I would lie in old fields that were overrun by wild flowers (weeds to some) and look up through them. I still like to get down low when I am taking pictures. Getting up again is a challenge however. Your take on THIS challenge is superb as usual. Gorgeous washes of colour. I am full of admiration!
