Today Sabrina challenged us to make an interlocking gatefold card. I've not made a gatefold in a long time so I thought this was fun. Two other photos are included. Obviously this is closed!
First I stamped my image then die cut the square, embossed it & used a stylus to outline the embossing for a finer detail. Nancy (stiz2003) showed me this. I then made the locking square. Then I cut & embossed the CC panels.
This really wasn't hard, just a little time consuming. I like that the score-pal has those little dots for the gatefold score lines. I found that out here. Thanks Beate. I always wondered why they were there!!!!
Thanks for stopping by.

I just love your colour combination with the pink and green and then the dark square frame setting off the floral panel. The embossed brick wall is a fabulous touch.

You did it! This is beautiful, Karen! Love the stippled rose and the color combination! I can't take credit for the die cut embossing. That one really belongs to Priscilla (catluvr2). I love the added richness it adds to the cut! This is just so beautifully done!
