For this week's interlocking gate fold technique challenge. The larger heart is cut from velour cs and the other from rescued packaging, as are the embossed side panels. The inside panel is layered over paper from a travel brochure. Cheapskate card.

Cheapskate as in the sense of recycled goods? Not any other way, this looks as rich and luxurious as a box of Belgian chocolates. I love your asymmetric heart.

This ELEGANT card doesn't look cheapskate in the least! I have recently started "rescuing" myself, and I'm proud when I do. You should be EXTREMELY PROUD of this wonderful card, I absolutely LOVE it!!! Gorgeous bright pink to balance the gold, wonderful!!!
Going into my favorites, I love this card, and to me the fact you've used some rescued goods makes it even better--takes ingenuity to do this, and you've got it in spades!!!

Brenda, I call cheapskate cards brilliant in creativity! Love the heart used as a gate fold "latch" and the velour paper is gorgeous! I have some somewhere, maybe time to dig it out after seeing this beautiful creation!
