This was my 7th attempt at my 1st freehand watercolor card (and probably my last). It isn't going to get any better, so I'm posting this one! My inspiration was these lilacs: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1944776...home_active_17. Mine aren't lilacs, but they are blue. There are no watercolor artist cells in my brain which is why I'm so fond of die cuts (thus the 5 in difficulty). The sentiment is IO/Greetings, dragonfly is CL/tiny winged things. Now I need a nap!

I'm laughing Priscilla, but in a nice way because you have said all that happened to me this morning! I had flower stamps, a teddy bear stamp - all to no avail ... hence my CRICUT CUTS. However you HAVE mastered it, this is good and you should be proud of it. The colours are gorgeous and your design just perfect. Well Done !!
Don't give up - you did a wonderful job free-handing your flowers - I had to use a stamp or mine would have been a true disaster...you have many more water color brain cells than I do! LOL

Priscilla, for your first attempt at watercolouring, this is just G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S. you should be doing this more often... I love the colour combo and the little dragonfly was a lovely touch....Same layout as my card, but I wish I would have thought of using die cut for centre panel....well done... love it...

Priscilla this is so beautiful and until I read your description I thought you used a stamp for the flowers!! Please don't let this be your last freehand watercolor!
