I wanted to get a lot of texture and color on this one so I inked through a stencil with distressed inks, then I painted a very thin coat of crystal effects only on the fish, then I sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds over that and waited for it to dry. Then I added more Crystal Effects on top of the fish to seal the 'sparkle' in! I love how it all turned out and the sparkle that occurs when it catches the light is impossible to catch on a camera.

That stencilled border is AMAZING, Audrie. What a wonderful frame for your lovely koi. They must be fantastic in real life - we all know how hard it is to capture shimmer and sparkle.
