Here I was all ready to upload my card & realized I hadn't uploaded the photo!! Now I'm ready to go & what a 'snappy' title!!!
This is for yesterday's SC & today's WTUI challenges & inspired by Scrapbooking 25/7. Thank goodness it's cards too! The only way I know to get to it is through facebook. Here is the card that inspired me on my Pintrest page. I changed a few thing, but kept the basic idea.
First I brayered & sponged the small panel. Then I stamped & stamped off the images. Spritzed the panel with water for Cathy's WT. Next I stamped, sponged & punched out the butterflies & sprayed them with Glimmer Mist. I'm not sure you can tell that. I sponged a WW panel with Soft Sky & Pear Pizzazz & ran that through the Cuttlebug & a Darice ef. Assembled the card & punched & sponged the sentiment. This was fun to do. I was glad to spend some time making this card. I haven't been too inspired lately!
Thanks for stopping by.

Love the color combo, Karen, and your beautiful butterfly scene! Great looking card; glad you found some mojo! My DGS's will be here in 2 hours for 10 days, so I don't think I will be making many cards~ I love making memories though!

Beautiful card, Karen, with your lovely soft colors in the bg which makes your butterflies really stand out. I'm sure IRL the glimmer is lovely and ethereal.

Oh, STUNNING card! First, I love the bottom grass layer with the texture and great coloring, then on the blue layer, I love how you've used the delicate stamp (I have this set, you've used it beautifully, I'm so impressed), and the coloring and shading--beautiful. And those butterflies are just the topping on a great card--WONDERFUL!!!

Karen, this is just beautiful. The stamped grasses look like they are continued from the embossed ones. I love the butterflies and how they stand out against your background. Your background with the muted images are just gorgeous.
