This is my card for our distinguished Queen Dina. She rules our SCS kingdom with beauty, kindness, and grace. She answers our crafting questions, and assists us when we have an "oops" - She's our own Artist in Residence and she's Queen of Our Hearts!
Queen Dina's gallery is chockablock with beautiful cards, wonderful techniques, and projects. I've decided to CASE this beauty
I changed the color scheme, the image (rectangle rather than a square), and did not include a sentiment on the front.
This is the first time I've tired embossing folder stamping. I used that for my background panels. Then I stamped my image and used my pan watercolors. The card base is dry embossed with the same embossing folder from Darcie (Basket Weave). A ribbon and button to finish.
Congratulations, Dina! Enjoy your reign this week.
Fondly,

Wow, Susie! This is incredible! Your beautiful embossing folder stamping appears to be designer paper, it is so well done. I love that you matched the design on the paper to the embossed base layer! You coloring is superb! Truly a magnificent card!

Ohh, I love that soft basket weave background! Such a pretty backdrop for the floral image. I need to check out the Distress Paints... or maybe I DON'T need to since I already have more coloring mediums than I know what to do with...! xo
