This is in honor of Dina ... this week's Queen for the Day. I chose this beauty to CASE. I followed Dina's wonderful tutorial on the Power Poppy Website.
Thanks so much Dina!! I have learned a lot from your video tutorial ... I had so much fun watercoloring this card! And thank you for all the beautiful inspiration in your gallery, along with all the time you spend at SCS helping make it a better place for all of us! Enjoy your special week!

Fantastic watercoloring! The blending and shading are just gorgeous, Loll! The splatter and painted little splats look fabulous in your background and I love the sentiment you chose.

This is gorgeous, Loll! Love the old world feel of the card. Makes me think of a wall with flowers in an old Italian village. (Like I have ever actually been to Europe...LOL!)

Loll, you achieved a wonderful background on this card, and your watercoloring is lovely. And, as always, you can turn a CAS into an absolute work of art! Great tribute to Dina, Loll. Both are beautiful cards.

Your beauty is a wonderful case of another beauty! She will love it, as do I.... Your sunflowers are gorgeously colored and fussy cut AND your background is AMAZING!!! Love the splatters!!! GREAT job...

Oh Loll, I'm so glad you tried it! Isn't that technique fun? I love the soft colors you used and the effect of the soft splattering - did you stamp into the background too? It's just gorgeous. Love the layout of your card too, and the leaves outside the box. Thanks so much for pawing through my gallery, and for showcasing one of my techniques! That's what makes this job worthwhile - passing it on!
