What unique challenges today & fun to do. Jenn asked that we stamp on a stencil & Claudia asked us to use a stencil for today's CAS challenge. I used Gorgeous Grunge for the first time, stamping over a brick stencil. There's really not enough stamping to give the brick look, but I like how it turned out. I stamped off once with the Marina Mist & Wild Wasabe inks. After the grunge stamping I removed the stencil & stamped the flower & sentiment. I added some sequins for some added interest. The flower centers also have some glossy accents.
This was a cool idea that I think I'd like to do again. Thanks ladies.
Thanks for stopping by.

I like the rain effect on this Karen! The brick stencil gave such a random stamping of the grunge set, one of my personal favorites! Awesome colors you used to do the stamping too!

Your stamping through the stencil created a lovely background for your pretty flowers. I had to think quite hard about what stamps would work to fill the gaps in a stencil. I tried a text stamp during DTGD, that worked quite well. I like the way you used different colours and at least two (that I can see) of the grunge stamps - and I can see some of the gaps for the brickwork!!

Very cool card Karen. I like the way all the yellow came out and your sequins and image are beautiful. Well done! Hugz!
