I watercolored most of my background, added some Lava Red Metallic Rub, some PearlEx and called it a day. Certainly not Dini's card, but close and I do like it.

I like it too, Vicky...and I really applaud you for jumping right in and CASEing one of Dini's cards. You did a terrific card with your mixed media approach...so "Dini". A lovely tribute to her.

You chose one of my favorite cards from DTGD, and I love that! I think that folder has so many possibilities, and you've shown yet another one. I love the colors you used - softer than mine - and the brushstrokes in your background that extend even onto the tag. Thank you for kind words!
