Yesterday I spent a fun day with Nancy (Stiz2003). We spent most of the day trying to figues out how to emboss with an embossing folder & a die. I think we finally did it, after much searching & experimenting. I saw this card on her desk & we both decided to do it again. I masked off the center panel & sponged on the blues with a dauber, then stamped several images. Then I colored the HA flower stamp with Distress Markers, removed the mask (almost forgot that part - good thing Nancy was there!!) & stamped the flower. I finished it up this morning. The sentiment is one of her stamps too. Then we just sat & talked. Neither of us have been feeling very creative. But I do like this card.
Thanks for stopping by.

This is beautiful, Karen. Sounds like you and Nancy had a most enjoyable time visiting, experimenting, and stamping. Nothing like a friend who shares your creative interest.

This is beautiful...I too love the twine. The sponging and stamping on your unmasked panel ROCKS. The last time I tried this I went through a pile of paper between the mask tearing off the paper when I removed it (too much sticky and paper to soft) to my mask slipping and my line wasn't straight to putting the mask on crooked and the line STILL wasn't straight...well, you get the picture! How fun that you got to spend a day creating, playing and talking! MY kind of day...
