Do not attempt to adjust your eyes (was that from the beginning of The Outer Limits show??) ....I realize this is a bit busy and eye intense! We were to use something glossy today and that is very hard to photograph..take my word the mummy is shiny!
I've been a bit busy and preoccupied of late so this was fun to do. My little g-nephew (since I don't have children my nieces and nephews are my kids and grandkids) is in the hospital..this following a surgery from 2 weeks ago. He now has a severe infection and other complications which may require 2-3 more surgeries and perhaps 6wks in the hospital. His 10th birthday was this week :( So if you could send some positive thoughts Aidan's way I'd appreciate it. I'm going over to see him this afternoon..and tomorrow will babysit his younger brother. Thanks.

Oh gosh, your poor great-nephew. That's rotten, and being in hospital on your birthday is pretty miserable too. I was on my 5th and I still haven't forgotten, LOL. I can see the sheen on your mummy (tell me all about how hard gloss is to photograph, sigh...) and love your use of chevrons in this design.

Oh Polly, your card is so cute! I'm so sorry to hear about your g-nephew. It just isn't fair when little ones are sick. He is certainly in my prayers. I'm sure your fun Happy Mummy card will cheer him up!

Sorry to hear that your g-nephew is going through such a rough time! A hospital is not the place a child wants to be, hope he's out soon. Loved your cute card!

My goodness, sorry to hear about your great nephew. Your card does look great! I believe you about the shiny mummy. I know how hard it can be to capture shine in photographs.

Hi Polly I am sorry to hear about your little grand nephew. I know what you mean I don't have kids either so my nieces and nephew are my kids too! What do you think about giving his name to the teapot ladies? We could all send him fun cards. Love your bright and fun design I am sure he will love it too!
