I'm really trying to work on my watercolouring skills. One thing I've learned is to let layers of colour dry in between each other - that is really helping. But I forgot that Versafine is a better ink - I used Memento and had to be really careful that it didn't bleed into the colours.
For my August quota for the SCS Christmas Card Challenge and for the Sparkle Creations Christmas card colour challenge.
I stamped my image on watercolour paper and coloured it with watercolour paints. After cutting it with the oval die cut, I sponged a bit of Wild Hare around it. Bordered the ovals with dark green and popped them up on a dp.

You watercolored that beautifully, Susan! The shading on your poinsettias is fantastic and what gorgeous papers on your background! The patience it must have taken to watercolor in layers.

Susan, a lovely Christmas card with the beautifully colored poinsettia and greens spray. The bg DP with the stripes and tiny holly couldn't be prettier.
