It is rare that I ever make anything for myself. I usually make things for other people in art swaps. I have always wanted to do a Bee themed project. I pulled out my stash and really enjoyed working on this doll. Her arms move and the wheels really do roll as well. This little Queen will live with me. I'm pretty excited about that.
I want to give a shout out to my special friend here on SCS - Amaranthine! Mary Ann, do you recognize the material on the wings? I used some of that rusty screen that you gifted me. I used it for a second layer for her wings and it worked out pretty darn good. Thank you so much, dear friend! You're always so generous with your loot - and that's that. Lucky me!
