Whew! One more for the DTGD challenges. If I can do about 3 more... I think I will have them all!!! :)
This was a fun one to make, though time consuming to say the least. I stamped the image twice, lining up my window location (predetermined and die cut with SB Petite circle die) on both panels. I colored the scenes in such a way that the top panel would flow onto the base. I colored the main part of the scene with Copics and the air brush but the sky is pastel chalks. I prefer chalks for skies because of the ease of blending without using up all your copic ink. The "sand" is Muddpuddles given to me by a sweet friend, and the little starfish is a gift from another dear friend. The rest of the little shells were shells my hubby and I picked up on North Myrtle Beach earlier this summer. I was so enamored with how tiny they were and planned then to put some in a shaker card. I mixed them with some blue micro-beads.
Thanks so much for looking!

WOW Grace! You outdid your self with this incredible beauty! Your sky is gorgeous! Your sea and sand is colored to perfection. I love the added shells and Muddpuddles creating all that wonderful texture. This is outstanding!

Grace, this is out of this world! I have been staring at it forever, and think it's the most amazingly clever card I've seen! Coupled with the fact my own dear family were playing on Myrtle beach last week! They are on a road trip from NY to Orlando and having a ball!
