I liked the texture in the sky and the lovely water. I used my Gelatos for a technique I had seen on YouTube this week which used watery Gelatos to create a drip effect. First I gessoed my paper and then I used my three blue Gelatos to
scribble on the top of the paper. I wet them and used my finger to blend. Then I spritzed them with water and tipped the paper to let the colors run down. While everything was wet, I dumped DD glitter onto the paint. When everything was dry I brushed off the excess. Warning: the glitter had turned blue, so brush off onto scrap and store separately. The bottom part had a few drip marks but a lot of white space so I rubbed gelatos on the flower head of the hydrangea stamp and spritzed it and stamped on the bottom. Then I inked it up and stamped without spritzing for a bit more definition. I stamped the hydrangea separately and used my blender pen to add a bit of color and then cut it out. Unfortunately, I don't have any nautical stamps down here because a boat would have been great with this background, but thhydrangea is lovely too. The hydrangea head was stamped repeatedly tone on tone on the turquoise card.

Beautiful colors, bg, and image! I love how you took the colors from the very cool painting and used them on a flower card. Lovely card! Hugz!

Kathy, the bg you created is FANTASTIC! TFS how you did it....and now you have blue glitter too....which might come in handy for a wintertime card : ) The hydrangea bloom is equally as beautifully done. A lovely card.

I have never used Gelatos before and you have inspired me to try. Your card is a beautiful interpretation of the inspiration piece! If you remember which YouTube video please share your link with us -
