This is so not my usual style. This challenge really got me out of my comfort zone. I used stamps from 3 different sets. I knew I wanted an encyclopedia background. I was flipping through the encyclopedia and the "lifeboat" words jumped out at me. I based my layout so that you could read the words "lifeboat". I stamped the images in brown. I usually color my images, but this time it seemed like they could stand on their own. I did pretzel knots in the twine. I really liked how this turned out. Thanks Sabrina for the challenge.

Great way to work in the dictionary page with such a suitable definition. Indeed the uncoloured images work perfectly - they look as if they could be illustrations from your encyclopedia. I love the lighthouse especially. What a great masculine card, MariLynn, with a super soft vintage look.
So creative! I don't have a ship, but I have that lifeboat. This reminded me. I love how you did the dictionary with your image. Fabulous masculine, vintage card! Love your pretzel knot, and I didn't know that is what it was called. You rock GF!
