When I read the challenge this morning, I had this idea come into my head...... I had immediately thought of being able to look through a portal on a ship and seeing the ocean and maybe another ship passing by. Well, then I looked at the gallery and saw that Sabrina beat me to it! LOL! So, I went to plan "B". I have always loved the ships in the bottles. I stamped the ship and drew a bottle around it, cut it out and put it on my background of sky and sand. Don't know quite how it got in the sand since there is no ocean drawn in the background! Hmmmm....... I drew some birdies flying around and then decided to put glossy accents over the whole bottle. No sentiment for now, will wait until I decide who it may go to.
Hmmm....my bottle looks like a milk bottle. I think I'll try to redo it to make it clear.
Have a terrific Thursday! Pay it Forward somehow today!

You could still have gone with the porthole - I wouldn't have minded at all and it's certainly not an idea that originated with me. But I'm glad you went with the ship in the bottle, it's so much fun! The glossy bottle is amazing!

It was tossed ashore in some violent storm, Lesley.(I have a good imagination) : ) A neat idea and you executed it SO well. Your bottle does have the look of soft white seaglass.

This brought me memories of Christmas! How you ask? Well it reminded me of the bottle of Old Spice my Dad got every Christmas. Wonderful memory; thank you! Love your ship in a bottle!
