I have had this watercolor paper, made specifically to be used in the computer, for about 8 years! I experimented and was surprised to find that I could down load a paper, print it, spritz it, use a brush to move the color around and it WORKED! I then used the EF to add more interest. I am not sure I needed the doily lace punch..It would have been more CAS if I hadn't. I popped both the labels. Behind the labels I cut and used the Memory Box Fauntleroy Crest (cut so it would fit right) and added some punched flowers. I punched a SU scalloped panel and layered with more white computer watercolor paper and punched the Martha Stewart edge punch and placed under that. Added half pearls and called it good!
I couldn't get a true color when photographing this. It is really more turquoise IRL(it has MUCH more green in it than blue) .
This card is also a Bday card for one of the ladies, (Donna) in my monthly card club. I was able to deliver it today in person.
Edit:
The computer watercolor paper is:
Burlington Watercolor Inkjet paper It came 10 sheets to a pack and you are supposed to use it with the watercolor setting in any of your Photo Editing software programs.

Wow, do I have a lot to learn! This is fabulous! I think the doily lace adds just the right touch of feminine charm. TYFS!

Oh my gosh I LOVE this technique and love the look! Never thought of smearing around printer ink and hope mine will work too! Peggy, this effect is beautiful and love this design! Your delicate embellishments are so tastefully done, allowing that gorgeous background to shine through!

Water color computer paper? Do they still make it? If not, someone needs to start making it again. Wow - how pretty is that soft and lovely bg and your pretty and small flowers. This is beautiful and I am sure your friend was tickled pink (or blue). Hugz!

Peggy, this is beautiful! Love the effect you got with your computer watercolor paper(a new one to me). I never like digis because of the "smear factor" and you turned it into a DEFINITE PLUS. You are so creative....and what you did with that "smeared paper" proves it.

TADA!! Peggy, this is another wonderful design. I got such joy reading your post on how you accomplished this -- surprised that it actually all worked *wink* Look at those wonderful paper flowers! And while I completely understand about how a card can look IRL as apposed to on camera, the "blue" look is just as pretty as the turquoise IRL (which I like too). Certain colors are difficult to capture as are shimmery items. Wonderful card creation my friend (smiling).
