I love it when my kids ask me to make cards for them. <3 <3 My 17yo DD has a friend getting married today (at 18 1/2!) and she needed a wedding card. I started with a 5x7" Vanilla base that I embossed twice with the Elegant Lines ef. I overlaid this with a piece of vellum on which I'd stamped the sentiment in gold and then embossed in clear ep (smeared the first one). I used vellum tape to adhere this piece to the left side of the card. I then tied my ribbon over this to hide the tape (though the vellum tape is far less visible than most). I diecut a couple sets of acetate leaves (used transparency paper) and used glue dots to adhere them. I had these felt roses that I cut and rolled a while back and I used more glue dots to add these on.
