First of all, I LURVE Tenia's work. I read her blog post about the card I chose to CASE and she uses that version of 'love' so I thought I would also. And I can't miss an opportunity to honor a fellow musician and teacher, although I'm not even close to a jazz pianist, too classically trained and square. Never could improvise, although I love love love jazz. Wish I could hear you, Tenia. This is her card I chose: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...0&ppuser=53908
I used a background that I made long ago, not sure what I used. But I do know it was the kissing technique, probably used a solid rectangle stamp and a background stamp and the colors are probably SU close to cocoa and sage shadow. Sorry I can't remember more. Things I kept: feathers, distressing, sort of the same layout, although turned, round embellishments in roughly the same place. Different: feather stamp, no heat embossing, colors, turned on its side, a tag instead of the sentiment strip. Kind of fallish, don't you think? Ick, I'm not ready.
