This card is for four of this week's Dare To Get Dirty Challenges...by Iliana, Cassie, Dina, and Fee.
The image is Powerpoppy and it's the first time I've inked it up. When this image first released, I had to have it because I love azaleas, and Dawn B did a beautiful Copic coloring using these colors, which are like the ones in my front yard. Her beautiful work inspired me to try it but with watercolor. After watercoloring it I realized it's really been a long time since I watercolored! Since I found Copics there's been very little going back, but I gave it a whirl. I used SU! markers to scribble in some ink in my palette, wet the watercolor paper just slightly, and went from there. To finish off I loaded a very wet brush with soft sky and splattered it for the background.
The sentiment is Stampendous.
Thanks for the fun challenges girls, and thanks for looking!

It's beautiful, Grace! I've never seen variegated azaleas like that! My mom always had deep pink ones and that's where my palette immediately goes when I color this one up. Thank you for playing along with my challenge, and for being a member of the Fan Club!
