A big congrats to Debby, the newest Featured Stamper! She has wonderful gallery and I found quite a few I wanted to case, but I was really drawn to This card w/ its cute little snowman & wonderful colors. I kept the snowman theme & colors, but I used different images, different die cuts & made my own patterned paper instead of using designer paper. I'm also adding this to Kittie's DTGD Challenge & all the details are HERE. Of course you'll need to be a Fan Club Member..but that's easy!..Fan Club info HERE! So go ahead and join and take the Dare to Get Dirty Challenge...you'll be so glad you did!
I stamped the three snowmen, colored them & cut them out. I didnÂ’t have the cute little die cut hillside Debby used, so I die cut a similar one a couple of times then added it some white hills for my snowy background. On the blue bg, I used some white pigment ink to stamp a snowflake background & I used a polka dot border & the same ink on blue frame. For the white frame, I used some soft pool ink and a chevron border image to stamp it. The greeting is part of a larger one & I used a SAMJ to position just the 3 words then die cut it w/ a diamond shaped die. The trees die cuts actually started out much fuller & w/ leaves, but I cut them off to resemble winter trees.
Congrats again, Debby! It's just been posted on my blog w/ the Copics I used: The Write Stuff

Julie, Julie, Julie! I adore snowman cards and this has to be one of the cutest I have ever seen. What a precious card and I love the aqua and teal blues you used. How clever and creative of your to cut off the leaves of the trees to create a winter tree. I bet your creative mind never stops. Thanks for the inspiration for cutting tree leaves off. I've tucked that away in my sad old brain. I hope I can remember it. LOL!
