I made this for today's inspiration challenge. I saw these pretty vases in this container with beautiful cherry blossoms and was totally inspired. Here's the link: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/131026670383624991/
I tried to mimic the feel of the vases, the container and the colors. I used creamy caramel as the base, then the slate as the mat. I used pool party, bashful blue, and white as the vases and the environment around the vases. I ran them thru the cb using a "script" ef.
The pieces going across are less than 1/2 inch in width. I ran those slate pieces thru the cb using a "basket weave" ef.
The cherry blossoms I stamped in espresso, then colored them using pink pirouette and pretty in pink and blended the colors together.
I then cut out the images and adhered them using mini glue dots.
This is a great way to start a rainy Sat afternoon here in CT. Thanks for the inspiration, and tfl!
Happy stamping!!!
