I had a hankering for whitewash to-day! Weird huh!! and since I haven't had much creative time this week to-day's challenge was perfect. I stamped and whitewashed my flowers and coloured accordingly. The background was antique walnut ink sponged through an old scrap of netting (tulle) that was laying there on my desk just staring at me! I haven't used my seam binding for a long time either so... on it went for the first layer along with the gems for centres. Finally I sponged the edges to complete.

I am so impressed that you got that wonderful background using Tulle...sooooo cool and creative! This is such a truly wonderful one layer card (I don't count the ribbon as a layer). Your flowers/leaves are just gorgeous with th ehint of color and your gems in the centers of the small ones are perfection. LOVE LOVE LOVE this!

This is just gorgeous! I LOVE the whitewash effect - I have never seen that before. Will have to give it a try. I think the background is the perfect touch as well!
