This is my card for Ally's sketch challenge today. I just got a bunch of new stamps delivered in the mail yesterday.....and this was the first one I grabbed. I coloured it using a Lyra Rembrandt Aquarall watercolour pencil (Delft Blue) and an SU blender pen on Hilroy 90 pound watercolour paper. The Hydrangea is Stampendous....there are a few different sets, I notice. The leaves are from an old pear stamp, because I didn't like the leaves in the set.
TFL!

Hydrangeas are my favorite flower, and I love lavender, actually any shade of purple!!! BEAUTIFUL watercoloring, and I think your choice of leaves is inspired. It makes a huge difference, lovely!!! And the pearls are a nice touch!!! BEAUTIFUL card!!! Going into my favorites.
Thanks so much for the info on the weight of the watercolor paper, wonderful hint!!!
