This is a sympathy card I made for the challenge over at ODBD to use stenciling or sponging on a card. I sponged the background embossing folder and sponged around the scripture verse. I also sponged some color onto the flower although it doesn't show up in the picture. tfl

Oh, Gwen, this is gorgeous! I think you've really made one of the most beautiful sympathy cards I've seen in a while! I love the verse you chose, and you've really showcased it beautifully with your dies, sponging, and that stunning flower! And I really love that embossing folder you've used - what texture it adds! What a delight to have you join us once again for the ODBD Shining the Light challenge, and it's a joy to see your beautiful work! Hugs!!

What an elegant card, beautiful shade of green and the ivory, and then the brown really grounds it all. I love how you've sponged the EF, it really adds depth and texture. I can see a bit of coloring on your flowers, I understand your frustration regarding what the camera doesn't pick up. This looks so great in the photo, I can only imagine how stunning it is in person!
Your beautiful card made with love will bring comfort, as will the message from that great bible verse. What an amazing card!!! Going into my favorites!
