Heidi, you have so many beautiful cards in gallery! I was having a hard time making a decision until I came to your Baseball Birthday card. I fell in love with this card right away and had fun figuring out how to make it, although the stitching about did me in because I was using cheap floss!
I have a grandson who is crazy about baseball, so this will be for his 14th birthday. In fact, he left this morning with his Papa for their 7th annual baseball trip. They travel to minor league teams in the midwest and watch games. It's really been a sweet tradition and they always come home with great stories and a baseball or two! The side benefit this year is the trip was planned when I am off of work - so except for a quick meeting tomorrow morning, I have four days to myself! I'm thinking there will be a pajama day in the mix - maybe more than one!!
My card base must have been bigger or I used a smaller circle for the ball, so I had to fill in with clusters of stars, and added some buttons. Thanks for the fabulous idea, Heidi. Enjoy your week!

So glad that you liked this card and made up your own version. You did an awesome job on it. I love the stars!! My grandson loves baseball, too, which is who the baseball card was for. Thanks for sharing your grandson story, too, and have a fun four days to yourself!

You MADE the baseball!!!!?? I wanted to do that card, but skipped because didn't know what to do about the big baseball. I have "baseball nuts" in the family too. You did an excellent job and your card is wonderful.
