I made a card to celebrate Jer's (youngest son) achievement of getting his Masters of Education. He has a degree in Visual arts and is an Art teacher so thought he'd love this "artsy" card.
I squiggled re-inkers onto my craft sheet, misted with water and then dropped two sheets of watercolor paper on top. Once dry, I repeated this twice to add more saturation of color. I used one of the sheets to make the banner and a strip for the inside of the card.
The cut file is free from Daniela Dobson ... I also CASED her layout and design, just changing up the background technique and a few other little details. I found Daniela's blog when I saw an amazing card by Vicki Dutcher using these cut circles.

I am so enjoying seeing what you do with watercolor! Your effects are always so gorgeous, Loll! I also love the idea of creating two pieces at the same time. Thank you for the link to that wonderful design too! What a great card you created for his Master's degree!

Oh Loll! This is just so cool...I bet your son LOVED this! Your water coloring behind the really amazing cut ROCKS! I love the colors you blended and the application (design) is awesome. I REALLY like the stamped sentiment combined with the die cut. Well done!
