Die cut paper flowers were formed using Sizzix Susan's Garden Tool Kit, and the Poppy embossed image was coloured using the Craf-T Products Metallic and Lustre Rub-On Paints. Sentiment was stamped in Versamark and then heat embossed with Lindy's Stamp Gang's Midnight Bronze EP. Took a little bit of time, but was fun to make.

Wow...stunningly beautiful. Love the great technique you used to create the background and your flowers surrounding your sentiment is gorgeous. Love the dimension to them all and their wonderful mix of colors. Wonderfully done.

This is such a beautiful card and I can see why it would take a bit of time. The embossing folder is beautiful...love Anna Griffin folders.

Wow! Thanks so much for all the very kind comments ladies! It was so nice to read them and they made my day! I'm still a bit of a newbie, so have been playing around with different techniques while trying to teach myself. This card came out completely different from what I'd originally had in mind, and just continued to morph into this final version, so I was happy to hear that others liked it too. I do need to apologize for the late response, but I've been away camping and had no internet access, so I'm just playing catch up on my email. Thanks again for the awesome feedback and the inspiration you've all shared with the rest of us! 😊
