This is for CC488 - All Abloom. I really tried to get every color in there (or some approximation) and the only one I didn't manage was the very pale pink. I tried, people. But it just didn't look good, no matter where I attempted to use it. And thus ends the apologia section of this description.
Bird stamped and sprayed with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink. Background for bird is a wrinkle-free distress piece using several shades of green and a bit of blue and yellow, over-stamped with a branch stamp. Bird image mounted on thick yellow mulberry paper. The rest is pretty obvious. Those tiny sequins are copper colored.
This sat on my desk for three days before I gave up on the pink and glued it together. Thanks to Polly for giving me the jumpstart to do that. I wasn't really feeling this card at all until I added the sequins, which only occurred to me during the glueing. Sometimes you get lucky like that.
Thanks for looking!

I see you've been to Red Lead! I LOVE this..the colors are so fresh..that aqua is gorgeous. I love the musical rick rack border..so clever! And the cute little yellow circles illustrating the music of your bird..terrific!! I'm glad you got this assembled..I wonder what else is sitting around on your stamping table??

I can hear your little bird singing to me! What a sweet card, with great use of this week's colors. (You know you don't need to use them all, right?) So pretty!

That wrinkle-free background piece is beautiful, Robin. I like the unex pected pink bird and love the little music circles. You've made me realise I could probably create something similar with either a music stamp or paper and a blank typewriter key stamp. Thanks! !
