Ok I realize this isn't quite so summery...I think I was still asleep when I read Birgit's instructions. But she did mention spending time with family and I am going on vacation in about a week with my extended family. I'm sure we will be reminiscing about other summers spent with our grandma, aunts, uncles, cousins...so this tag represents that. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! The frame for "unidentified" female relative was made with that metal hardware tape on cardstock then cut out with a SB frame. I rubbed on some new paint, a metallic brown that gives it an antique look. The portrait is stazon stamped on glossy paper and rubbed with distress inks. My bg was made using a cheesecloth bg stamp to which many sewing motifs were added (pin, button, scissors). The tie is dyed seam binding and cheesecloth together with a hanger charm. Thanks for looking!

OMG, HOLLY MOLLY, and knock me over with a feather. This is amazing. I could look at this all day. I love the awesome details. I can't believe you made that faux metal frame. You give me an inferiority complex...your creations are always so fresh and new. I always feel like "been there, seen that" when I make a card and yours just scream "creative, new and different". Just stunning.
