I haven't stamped in quite some time, so I took the opportunity this week to get a few cards made. It was hot and humid out so I stayed in, stayed cool and stamped (so much fun). I enjoy looking at clothes and then challenging myself to make a card similar. Our granddaughter has a pair of Miss Me shorts with flowers, rhinestones and glitter on the back pockets. I thought that would make a beautiful and special card for her birthday. The flowers were heat embossed on brocade blue and then cut out. I then stamped the flowers on navy paper and cut them a little larger than the image. I layered the embossed flowers over the navy flowers. Sponged a little color on the flowers and then added glitter to the embossed lines. I distressed some of the edges of the card and then added some faux stitching. The butterfly is cut from approx. 8 layers of aluminum foil.
