Mary gave us a very wide and varied palette for today's challenge. I decided to use all seven colors in the form of reinkers to "watercolor" the jar of pink hydrangeas.
The colors:
Blushing Bride
Daffodil Delight
Island Indigo
Lost Lagoon
Mossy Meadow
Pistachio Pudding
Strawberry Slush
Dessert: make a summer card. I went with flowers.
I used the "no-outline" technique shown on PTI's "Make It Monday"....the technique was also shown here on SCS in the past. It involves stamping the image with a VERY light color and then proceeding to watercolor. Reinkers and an aqua brush make easy work of it. The gray was made by mixing a blue, a green and a pink = a neutral.

Oh my gosh! Sallie, you really should paint! This is exquisite! The shading in the flowers and even the jar is painted perfectly! I would just love to watch you do one of these and see how you determine exactly where the highlights should be. This is truly a work of art and should be in a frame!!

This needs a frame....did you take lessons or are you just naturally an artist? So beautifully colored with reinkers...and you got all the colors in. You WIN!!!!
