I wanted to try a zig-zag cut/fold card and also needed a masculine birthday card so I tried this CAS approach. I normally use ivory or cream paper with browns, but I think the white contributes to the clean look. I cut the white card to fit , then stacked it without the brown, stamped once for all three layers, and embossed each piece of the image separately. then re-assembled.

Welcome, and congratulations that your card was chosen in the Favorites of the Week--wonderful!!!
I love this card, how the flowers curve so elegantly, and the colors work well too, stunning!!! I have been at SCS for years, but had to take several years off of making cards (due to health issues), and it's such a thrill to be back making even a few cards here and there--I am blessed!!! Isn't SCS a great place, such warmth and kindness here, lots of support, and I'm always learning from the great artists who are here. Getting out for classes just doesn't work, so I am grateful for what I learn right here and online.
Just wanted to say hello and to congratulate you, this is a wonderful card!!! I took a little peek at some of the rest of your gallery, wow--some gorgeous cards indeed!!! I look forward to taking a better look, and to seeing your cards as you upload them too. I also love it that you've included that verse on your signature--I need to find out how to do that myself (and choose a verse), I'm such a computer dunce! What a great testimony to leave that verse, good for you!!!
