I was coloring these stamps with my Spectrum Noir markers the other day and remembered a fun way to create a faux watercolor with markers.
The images are stamped and colored - then turned over to use the back side. I trimmed out each piece, leaving a generous margin of white to create a bordered-diecut look. Not to mention it's WAY easier to trim out images when you do it that way.
The sentiment is stamped it on vellum with StazOn ink and adhered the piece to a woodgrain textured cardbase. The flowers are popped up with foam adhesive -- the leaves with adhesive tape. Adding a very thin strip of yellow patterned cardstock with the edges sanded off not only pulled in some yellow from the flower and balanced things out...but it gave a hiding spot to adhere the bottom edge of the vellum. Totally planned! LOL! Clear sequins added a little shine to the design without distracting from the natural organic feel.
