Happy Monday, everyone!!! This week's Clean and Simple Challenge is 'A Day At The Beach'. I used a $1 clearance stamp which I bought at JoAnn's several years ago, along with a sentiment from the Our Daily Bread designs set, 'The Waves on the Sea'. The water was sponged over a piece of scratch paper and the clouds were sponged over a scalloped circle. The palm trees were stamped an extra time, cut out and popped up with foam tape; the beach was paper-pieced using a scratch piece of unknown paper which had a sandy look. The only embellishment I used was some cotton ribbon. Thanks so much for looking! Have a very blessed day!

It is so fun to use those little bargains that often get tucked away. I was looking for one I knew I had that would be perfect for this challenge, but I haven't found it yet. It's somewhere!!!! Love this serene card.

What a wonderful little island....perfect seclusion and serenity!! I would love to be there, but alone for only a short time (I would miss my craft room!).
