Used scattered straw and crackle background to stamp background; Stamped image with black pigment ink and embossed with clear embossing powder (medium 1). For the starfish, I stamped and embossed the starfish the same way and then used masking fluid (medium 2) on them. I then inked up an acrylic block with broken china ink and misted it and stamped over the starfish. I spritzed several colors of ink on top. I rubbed off the masking fluid and colored in the starfish with the spiced marmalade. I used a 7/8 inch square punch to punch out various parts of the starfish background and popped up the patches with dimensionals. I distressed around the edges with broken china and painted the seashell and finished it off with clear wink of stella. (I typed this in a very big hurry. If you want clearer detail, PM me!)

Beautiful use of inks here, Jean, the bg you achieved is just lovely - I like the little squares set across the bottom with the glimpses of the bright starfish! Love the main image too!
