The Mix challenge for today was to use two mediums and do something related to a patch. This was a good one for me because I was asked to patch my grandson's work bibs on Wednesday. I do not get along with sewing machines and really, I hate to sew. I found some material suitable for a patch on them and started sewing and darning away. I told my daughter I would quit when I sewed the legs together which was something that could definitely happen with me in the sewing seat. I was only half done when my needle hit a seam and bent. It evidently took my needle threader out and I could not re-thread the machine. Now machine has to go to the shop. I did a couple of hand stitched x's for my stitching on this card. The thread and the patch material is my two mediums. No wonder the needle broke in my machine, this material is thick. I thought I would never get it cut out with my Vagabond machine and that is a rare thing.
Okay, that is enough of my sewing horrors for today. :)

The diecut denim looks fabulous. I always keep a couple of special denim needles on hand (they're good for DH's leathers too! !), and even then I normally use my older machine. I'm sorry you had such sewing woes but at least you got a great card. You had great DP too.
I'm envious that your machine actually has a threader. None of mine do, as nd me eyesight is getting to the stage where one would be very helpful ;-).

So pretty! Quite the story too. My sewing adventures often end that way. I love the patchwork patterned paper, and the brown paired with it all. Ties it in very nicely! Thanks so much for playing my Mix-Ability challenge!
