I took my original inspiration for this card for Susie's (australia) birthday card from a card Kitty made and I knew I wanted to make a version of it because I LOVE butterflies and I loved her card. My card is a different shape, with an embossed background and I used different dp and a different coloration. I used the SU scalloped punch to frame the butterflies as well as scoring a line above and below the butterflies AND I added a ribbon. I let the embossing be the outside sentiment and the birthday sentiment is on the inside. I think this qualifies as a CAS card. I was very pleased with how this turned out. I waited for Susie to recieve it and then actually forgot to post it last week.

This is such a sweet card, Peggy! What really makes it stand out is the beautiful paper you used for the butterflies and the scalloped trim! I LOVE that embossing folder too! It has such a clean look to it with all the white space!

I love the simplicity of this card! That embossed background just sets off your beautiful butterflies and makes them really pop off the card. Totally gorgeous!

Beautiful CAS card Peggy! I don't see you or Kittie do a lot of CAS. I was immediately attracted to this by my shared love of butterflies and by the beautiful blues against the stark white.
